Tuesday Share

Good morning. Happy Tuesday. It's Leah here and I have a couple of layouts to share with you this morning using lots of gorgeous new MVBs. First up is Riding the Rapids using textured and felt cogs plus a topper. These are great for adding texture and dimension to your layouts and the colours suited my layout perfectly.

Next up is Hanging out with Daddy. On this one I have used a doily, pinwheel and clay rose. Doilies are such a staple and so versatile. I also love the pinwheels as I think they are fun. I usually reserve them for boy layouts but the colours suited this one so well I couldn't resist using it. And of course the little clay rose is just too cute.

Playing the fool

Hi, Ali here :)

Krissy has invited all the Blossom Princesses to share some MVB creations with you and I'm first up.

So, I thought I'd share a LO I created using the latest Wicked Princess sketch.

I wanted my embellies to echo the fun my son was having, being a fool in the pool, so I chose one of my all-time-favourite jumbo monkey buttons. I love these guys because they're cheeky and fun and there are lots of different monkey faces to choose from. Then I added one of the new super-groovy cog pinwheels and a classic red cog to finish off my cluster.

Here's a close up so you can see the detail on the pinwheel.

I also thought I'd share a LO I did last year using a different monkey button and a MVB doily and mushroom. Guess my son really suits those cheeky monkey faces :)

January release is here!

Thanks so much for coming along to the 1st release for 2012! Its a HUGE release and I hope you all like the new MVB's I have been busy making :)
