Krissy has invited all the Blossom Princesses to share some MVB creations with you and I'm first up.
So, I thought I'd share a LO I created using the latest Wicked Princess sketch.
I wanted my embellies to echo the fun my son was having, being a fool in the pool, so I chose one of my all-time-favourite jumbo monkey buttons. I love these guys because they're cheeky and fun and there are lots of different monkey faces to choose from. Then I added one of the new super-groovy cog pinwheels and a classic red cog to finish off my cluster.
Here's a close up so you can see the detail on the pinwheel.
I also thought I'd share a LO I did last year using a different monkey button and a MVB doily and mushroom. Guess my son really suits those cheeky monkey faces :)
Don't forget to share your MVB creations with us via the facebook page. Or why not hop over to Wicked Princesses and try your hand at the sketch? February marks the launch of the new look Sketch challenge - Sketches+. Create a LO using the sketch+ stitching +'love' (did you see my love under the monkey?). I'd love to see your take on it! Did I mention I'm offering the first person who loads their LO into the gallery a little bit of happy scrappy mail?!
Thanks for stopping by, I can't wait to see what the other princesses have been up to!
Gorgeous work, Ali. Gotta love a cheeky monkey or two!
